Day 1: Departure and Arrival at Salt Lick Safari Lodge
- Take the early morning Madaraka Express train from Nairobi to Voi. The journey typically takes around 5-6 hours.
- Transfer from Voi Train Station to Salt Lick Safari Lodge (approximately 1- 1.5 hours by road).
- Check in at Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Refresh and settle into your accommodation.
- Enjoy a meal at the lodge.
- Head out for an evening game drive in Tsavo East National Park.
- Dinner at the lodge and relax in the common areas or on the elevated viewing platforms.
Day 2: Full Day Safari
- Start with an early morning game drive to experience the wildlife in the
cooler hours. - Return to the lodge for breakfast.
- Enjoy the lodge’s facilities such as the pool or viewing platforms.
- Lunch at the lodge.
- Head out for another game drive to explore different areas of Tsavo East.
- Return to the lodge for dinner. Relax and enjoy the evening.
Day 3: Relaxation and Return
- Spend your final hours at the lodge, enjoying the views and facilities.
- Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge
- Check out and transfer back to Voi Train Station.
- Take the afternoon Madaraka Express train back to Nairobi.
- Arrive back in Nairobi in the evening and end your trip.
